Italian singer Gala performs in Cayo Santa María

The Italian singer Gala She was one of the international artists invited to the new music festival in the Santa María Cays, held in recent days and which, on this occasion, had 90s music as its theme.

A video shared on social networks by the tourist entertainer Leo Martines shows part of the presentation of the composer born in Milan, which was widely heard a few years ago on the island.

In his show - which took place during the second night of the festival - he did not fail to perform some of his most international songs, which were successful in the 90s in Cuban clubs and homes; among them, "Come into my live" or "Freed from desire".

Ku Minerva, Real 2 real, Real McCoy, La Bouche were, among others, the international artists who completed the event's poster, whose slogan on this occasion was "a trip to the 90s."

Among the Cubans were Anacaona, the first Cuban women's orchestra, founded in 1930.

Manolito Simontet and Arnaldo y Su Talismán also performed on the second night of the event.

The previous edition of the festival, which featured Charly & Johayron, Tito El Bambino, Tekashi 6ix9ine, Yailin La Más Viral, among others, was surrounded by controversy almost from the first news of it, firstly, because many considered that being a participant in such an event, which contributes to boosting the propaganda of the Cuban regime as a safe and paradisiacal destination, gave turning its back on the shortcomings and lack of freedoms of its citizens.

Criticism then pointed out organizational and hotel chaos due to overbooking of rooms.
