Cuban sends message to newcomers to Miami: "Here you came to work"

The young barber José Luis Hernández, who has been living in the United States for 13 years, shared his story of improvement on social networks and offered advice to achieve success in the North American country.

A young Cuban, who has been living in the United States for 13 years, sent a message to his compatriots through social networks, where he shares part of his life story and gives some advice to achieve his goals in that country.

In a few words, the barber Jose Luis Hernandez, as the young man identifies himself, has expressed that in the United States he has achieved “everything,” summarizing his concept in “one life.”

In response to user questions TikTok Dairon Cano, the young man lists that his concept of “a life” relates it to having obtained a house, a car, but above all, he mentions with emphasis his seven-year-old daughter.

At another point, he warns the newcomers that “they came to the United States to work” because “a job here is everything.”

Videos similar to this one have surfaced on various social media platforms to encourage and, at the same time, be a wake-up call to Cubans who have been on US soil for a short time.

Previously, in a video broadcast on TikTok Yoandry Rifas, a Cuban who lives in a container in Miami-Dade, said that "the first thing we have to do when we arrive in this country is to be grateful for anything."

A criterion that another Cuban also shares. Marcial Gutiérrez, 29 years old, who arrived in the United States ten years ago, broke down TikTok five tips for compatriots who have recently arrived in the country; keys that he considers essential to get ahead.

The first advice is to buy a car, but he advises not buying it in installments but paying for it in cash and second-hand.

The second recommendation It is after three or four months - as soon as you have a little autonomy - to leave the house that welcomed you when you arrived in the country, a point on which several Cubans who have spread similar advice on social networks agree.

The third tip It is fighting to not have debt.

The fourth suggestion It is having more than one job, whether walking dogs or grooming, but having more than one job.

The fifth step, and the main one in his opinion, is extreme savings.
