Manuel Alejandro Marrero Medina, son ofPrime Minister of Cuba, has been seen in Spain enjoying friends in restaurants and tourist places in that European country.
In some photos shared by the news portalCubans around the World, the young man appears accompanied by several people at different times, including Rolando Antonio Escobar Hidalgo, a regular companion of the Cuban leader's son. Claudia Galán Rivas, a Cuban who apparently lives in Madrid, also appears, among others.
“Marrero's son on vacation in Spain, while his father with a very hard face justifies the misery that ordinary Cubans experience in their entirety,” this portal describes the shared photographs.
Furthermore, they add that “State resources are used as their personal bank account to live this life of millionaires; only allowed for the Castro elite.”
In the images you can see the young man walking through tourist towns such as Toledo and hanging out with people in restaurants and hotels in Madrid.
On his social networks, Marrero Cruz's son appears photographed in different hotels in Cuba. His latest Instagram posts were taken in theThe Level at Meliá Internacional, in Varadero, in the middle of last year, a common lifestyle among the children of Cuban leaders.
During 2019, when his father assumed the position of Prime Minister of Cuba, the young man who defines himself as a "lover of travel, makeup and addicted to photography" was at the center of controversy due tosome photos where he was seen traveling on one of the private jets that Miguel Díaz-Canel, Raúl Castro and other senior leaders of the country use to go abroad.
Days later the young manHe deleted from his Instagram account the images in which he appeared posing on one of the private jets of the Government of the Island.
Recently, his father, as spokesman for the Cuban government, announced anew package of measures that affect the family economy, with increasingly exorbitant prices and growing inflation.
When speaking in the Second Ordinary Period of Sessions of the National Assembly of People's Power, in its 10th Legislature, last December, Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz, listedA series of measures that were not well received in the population. While the children of the leaders can afford trips that are considered luxuries in the Cuban context.
