Cuban woman arrested in Italy for drugging two men to rob them

He drugged them with sedative drugs diluted in coffee.

A Cuban woman identified asLindys Pérez Felip was arrested in Italy on suspicion of drugging and robbing two men she had arranged to meet through a dating website.

The events occurred in Cornate d'Adda, in the province of Monza and Brianza, Lombardy region. Pérez, 40 years old and carrying a Bolivian passport, served his victims coffees with diluted benzodiazepines to put them to sleep so he could steal their belongings.

The affected men, both over 50 years old and residents of Lombardy, experienced dizziness and loss of control after ingesting the contaminated coffee that Pérez gave them in small plastic cups.

One of them is a taxi driver, he fainted while driving and ended up crashing his vehicle into the wall of a house. In addition to the accident, the woman stole 600 euros that she kept in her wallet.

Adriatic Corriere He noted that Pérez's arrest occurred on January 26 after the complaint of the first of the victims.

There was a quick investigation by the Vimercate police, who managed to identify the Cuban woman using images recorded by security cameras and collecting concrete evidence.

During the inspection of his home, the authorities discovered the glasses used to commit the crime and packages of benzodiazepines. The Cuban woman now faces robbery charges.
