Leoni Torres to Yordenis Ugás: "You are a real Cuban, who I admire and respect a lot"

"How nice Leonis's concert always is, what a nice fan base he has. What a great artist. Thank you for your humility and talent, brother," said Yordenis.

Once again, the Cuban singer Leoni Torres shared with his compatriot Yordenis Ugás, for whom he has great admiration and respect.

"You are a real Cuban, who I admire and respect a lot," said the artist.

Excited, the boxer thanked him and reminded him that the feeling is mutual.

"Thank you for representing us," he said.

Yordenis went last Saturday to the Leoni concert at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, a presentation to a full theater in which he shared the stage with other Cuban artists such as Pancho Céspedes, Cimafunk, Eddy K and Diana Fuentes.

A video shared by the boxer on his networks allows him to see it while sitting in the audience enjoying the performance.

"How nice Leonis's concert always is, what a beautiful fan base he has. What a great artist. Thank you for your humility and talent, brother," he commented on his Facebook.

More than once these two Cubans have shown the affection they feel for each other.

Yordenis Ugás is a big fan of Leoni's music and it is common to see him at his shows.

"What a great artist you are and even better as a person.. May God bless you and your family. You are an example and class act of a human being," Ugás told him in February of last year, after a presentation by the Camagüeyan at the El Santo Miami nightclub.

Even, Yordenis taught his mother Milagros to dance to Leoni's song The Things I Ask of You, since he performs equally well on the track as in the ring.

Leoni was the artist that Ugás chose to present and will sing the national anthem in his fight against Errol Spence in April 2022.

"Yordenis Ugás is going to have one of the most important fights of his career and I have been invited by him and his team to present it, to be there and support him," the singer announced.
