It is common to see Yordenis on his social media supporting causes that involve Cubans in advocating for change in the Cuban government. His support for the San Isidro Movement, along with his invitation to Cuban athletes and artists in a video urging them to raise awareness about the oppressive reality on the island, has made him one of the most influential Cuban figures.
