A storm system unleashed four tornadoes in South Florida over the weekend, National Weather Service (NWS) meteorologists confirmed.
One of them crossed the area of 34 Court NE, near Third Avenue.
The NWS was unable to classify the Oakland Park tornado on the EF Scale, which is used to classify tornadoes based on estimated wind speed and related damage.
However, two EF0 tornadoes - with estimated wind gusts of 65 to 85 miles per hour - touched down in the Miramar-Pembroke Pines area and the Cooper City-Davie area. Another tornado also touched down near Krome Avenue in Miami-Dade.
In addition to tornadoes, South Florida suffered fallen trees and damage to various infrastructure.
