Family asks for help to cover funeral expenses of a young Cuban who died in an accident in the US.

The family ofWilliam Blanco, the young Cuban who lost his life at just 23 years old in a traffic accident in Florida, this Tuesday, asks for help to cover funeral expenses.

A person close to Blanco's family circle toldCyberCuba that the cost of the young man's funeral and burial amounts to about $26,000, which is why the family opened apage onGoFundMe in order to raise the necessary funds to bury him.

“Unfortunately, my cousin William Blanco lost his life in atragic car accident last night 02/20/2024 leaving all his family and friends with a great emptiness and inexplicable pain,” he wrote.Deyamnet Pérez on the platform. “We hereby ask for any type of help possible to give him the rest he deserves.”

Pérez stressed that his cousin, “only 23 years old,He was a happy, loving, hard-working young man. An exceptional son, brother, nephew, grandson, cousin and friend"He was just beginning to live and he left us."

Finally, on behalf of the entire family, he thanked anyaid that people can offer.

Blanco, a resident of Tampa, died last Tuesday night when his car collided with a vehicle traveling in front, in the northbound lanes of Interstate 75, near North Port, in Sarasota County.

The young man was driving a sedan in the center lane of the highway and crashed into the back of the truck.

According to authorities,Blanco was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car.

One of the passengers in the van received medical attention after suffering minor injuries; while the driver and the other occupant of the vehicle had no injuries. The incident is under investigation by the authorities.

Blanco's fateful fate, at such a young age, has caused shock among his family - especially his parents -, friends and relatives, who cannot resign themselves to his loss and continue to express their pain in moving messages on social networks.

His cousin Arlettys Guzmán expressed the family's immense regret at this fateful moment. “It is an immense pain that you are going to leave in our chest. God, you know?
