One person was injured in a traffic accident between an electric motorcycle and a car that occurred this Sunday afternoon in Havana.
The event occurred on Calzada de 10 de Octubre and Avenida Santa Catalina, as reported by the Facebook user John Ochoa in the group “Car Accidents in Cuba”.
He also said that “the driver of the motorcycle is injured” and “no deaths have been reported,” although the causes of the accident were not specified.
The photographs shared show that the motorcycle was left under the front of the car.
In the comments section, users discussed the dangers on Cuban roads and the importance of road respect among Cuban drivers.
“The cars go as they please with the phone in their hand, entertained, they don't turn on turn signals, they stop for the moment and they don't care. They do not give way or have courtesy with motorcycles. They believe that the street is theirs and that motorcycles have no right, so they are the canned ones,” said one Internet user.
Another person took the opportunity to talk about the road where the accident occurred. “I remind you that October 10 is the busiest and most dangerous road in Havana. There is a saying that if you don't get your driver's license by October 10 or drive in that area. You have to have good reflexes, patience and speed at the same time and all five senses well alert,” he said.

The accident took place at the intersection of Avenida 31 and Calle 10, in Miramar, in the capital municipality of Playa. The condition of the people who were traveling on the motorcycle is unknown.
Also, a car hit a motorcycle on the corner of 7th and 28th streets, in the Playa municipality of the Cuban capital.
According to the photographs, the car laterally impacted the motorcycle, which became trapped under the front bumper.
