Several Cubans thanked a driver from Havana who diverted a bus to help a passenger.

This is a driver on route 488 who, in full service, diverted the passenger bus to take an elderly man to the Emergency Service of the Julio Trigo hospital.

"Many congratulations to this great driver of the 488, I don't know him but he was able to divert the bus and ask for a way to help an elderly person. He took him directly to the Julio Trigo Hospital Guard Corps," he posted on Facebook the Internet user "Dalia Borrero" in the group "Somos Mantilla".

Many have commented that the action gains significance in a context marked by the loss of values in Cuban society, where violence and social apathy associated with growing poverty proliferate.

"Thank God they still exist good people with a good heart, because really even education was lost here," commented one member. "That is carried inside and the teaching he had and his good heart, God bless him always," said another.

Recently, Cubans on social networks recognized the generosity of a chauffeur from some religious or private institution on the island that transported an elderly man in Havana and at the end of the trip decided not to charge him for the fare, given the shortage of transportation that exists in the country.

Likewise, a Cuban mother thanked a bus driver who picked up his daughter about to give birth and diverted the bus to leave her at the maternity hospital.
