Cuban diabetic missing in Havana found dead

The Cuban Walfrido Hernández,reported missing since last March 21, was found dead this Sunday in Havana.

According to Irma Broek, administrator of the Facebook group “Denouncing crimes in Cuba”, Walfrido was found on Vía Blanca, “it is still not known with certainty if he was the victim of a homicide, his body was found hanged, on his knees and in an advanced state. of decomposition.”

His daughter,Yoanet Hernandez, who had reported his disappearance and shared several photos on his Facebook profile, confirmed the unfortunate news.

“Thank you very much to everyone who was concerned, there is nothing more to do, my father was found dead, thank you all for your concerns,” he shared.

When making her complaint public, Walfrido's daughter described him as a loving son, father and grandfather who lived with his family in zone 15 of Alamar, in the Habana del Este municipality.

Walfrido's name joins a long list of Cubans who have disappeared from their homes and their families have to accept the news of finding them dead.
