A Cuban minor with a disability, nicknamed "the pink girl" because of how much she likes that color, received a house - the 36th home delivered by Limay Blanco - purchased in this case thanks to a dozen donations to the project.Christ Changes Lives, presided over by the comedian
Limay himself, accompanied by his wife Glenda Medina, handed over the home this week to the girl's family, who previously lived in poor conditions in Havana.
The moment was especially emotional because the comedian met the family at a house where they would presumably deliver some clothing donations to the girl.
However, in the middle of the visit, the girl's mother received the surprise that inside a small box were the keys to her new house, which was the same home they were in at that moment.
The youngest - who is very affectionate - immediately hugged the comedian excitedly. The news unleashed deep emotion in the entire family, who then toured the different rooms of their new house.
Especially beautiful is the youngest's room - decorated in pink - who seemed very happy at all times with so many new things.
In addition to reliably thanking the gift, The girl's mother left a message to other mothers who have sick or disabled children.
"For all the moms who have sick children, only we know this pain, which is a suffering that is carried inside, but we must continue"said the woman, who then added that she would not change her daughter for another because she "is God's creation."
"I ask all mothers not to get tired, to fight, to fight, to fight. The girl was a vegetable and look how I have her. They gave her up to eight years to live and she is now 12", she concluded excitedly.
Limay Blanco, for his part, said that after the continuous questions he has received for his work, he was recently on the verge of abandoning everything.
He stated that when asked by someone about something that inspired him, he responded that "the pink girl", since the minor has always shown the comedian an endearing affection.
This is how, with the collaboration of almost a dozen people who donated large sums of money - including Limay himself -He managed to raise $7,279 which allowed him to buy the house, paint it and furnish it.
In recent months Limay Blanco has helped the pink girl on several occasions. In one of them he gave hima wheelchair that had been sent to him from Miami.
It is a fact that the minor professes enormous affection for the comedian, giving him kisses and hugs every time she sees him.
On one of those occasions, the girl did not hesitate to ask that the first photo taken with a cell phone that Limay gave her be with him. On that occasion the comedian brought him clothes, shoes and a simpler wheelchair.
