At least one person died and another is reported to be in serious condition after a traffic accident in Santiago de Cuba that involved a Transgaviota bus and a motorcycle.
The incident occurred near the province's zoo, reported independent reporter Yosmany Mayeta Labrada.
The bus ran over the passengers of the motorcycle, two young brothers, and the one traveling in the back seat died instantly, witnesses explained.
The deceased was identified by Internet users asEliezer Barriento. The motorcycle was green.
Criminalistics lifted the body of the deceased person on the road.
Several people from Santiago agreed that the zoo area is very dangerous and accidents are very frequent; However, the traffic authorities do not propose any alternative to reduce accidents.
