Solidarity hairdressers cut women's hair for free in Havana

Aylín Sardiña and her friend Edu are promoting this work in an important parish in the Cuban capital.

The fatherLester Rafael Zayas Díaz shared images of an initiative that the young hairdresser is promoting in her parishAylín Sardiña Fernández and his friend Edu.

"Thank you Aylín for being with the favorites of the Kingdom. I promise that next Monday there will be more of us," said the parish priest on his Facebook profile.

This solidarity initiative is taking place weekly in theParish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in El Vedado, Havana.

It is a very helpful solution for retired people whose checkbooks in Cuba are not enough to purchase enough food and who cannot afford an expensive hairdressing service, due to the extreme situation to which the State's erroneous economic policies have led them.

"Thesolidarity hairdressing in Línea y C! Now accompanied by my friend Edu," the stylist recalled on her social networks, inviting people in need to enjoy this free service, which she has been successfully carrying out for several weeks in the community.

At the end of 2023 the story ofanother Cuban hairdresser that in the midst of the current economic crisis, offered free haircuts to children from vulnerable families in Havana.

The young entrepreneur Clau González, a worker at Studio Kiry Browns, lived an intense day at Christmas giving a cut to the little ones of numerous families on the island.
