A Cuban in Valencia, Spain, who on Tuesday was waiting her turn to enter the courts andHe protested when he saw a former politician arrive and jump the line to enter, confessed that he did not know who the man was, although he does not regret what he did either.
The woman went viral after a video was released in which she is seen confronting the civil guards who were trying to push her aside to let the man pass.Eduardo Zaplana, a former minister of the Popular Party who is accused of corruption, and that that day he went to court for the trial.
"Say what you want, Eduardo Zaplana, that's what it is, the tail. So you're not going to do anything to me, okay? You can have me killed if you want, let's see, this black woman lasts a thousand. A catch the tail, man," he expressed in another video that was shared on Twitter.
The Cuban, calledBarbara Gomez, was even interviewed on television, where she seemed surprised by the impact of the event and revealed that people stop her on the street and ask to take photos with her.
"I didn't expect this, really, it wasn't that big of a deal," he said in the programOn everyone's lips, of theCanal 4. "I didn't know anything that this was going to come out and the day before yesterday people started saying: 'Barbara, you've gotten involved in court with a politician.'"
Eduardo Zaplana was Minister of Labor and Social Affairs in the government of José María Aznar. On the day of the curious incident, he arrived at the courthouse surrounded by cameras and journalists, but that was not enough for Bárbara to realize that she was a person with a different treatment.
She admitted that she didn't know who Zaplana was, but added that she didn't care.
"I was in my queue and I see that man stands next to me to enter and I say: 'what's up with this man?' I saw many cameras and I see that the man was laughing at me and I told him: 'I told you that You're not going to pass, you should get in line,''" he said.
In the programMornings, from Spanish Television, Bárbara revealed that she was in court because she was going to testify as a witness in a trial.
"It turns out that this man comes there, with that uniform that is probably brand name, I don't know, he comes to stand in front of me. (...) What I knew was that a person like that was not going to pass in front of me him, with so many people and suddenly pushing me to the side. And how disrespectful is that?" he questioned.
The peculiar incident has even caused memes on the Internet.
For her part, Bárbara has dedicated several videos to the Spanish politician on her account.TikTok, and in one he even told him that because of him he has to be giving interviews to the media.
