An elderly man was injured this Sunday in an accident involving a motorcycle and a bicycle in the province of Guantánamo.
After the incident, which occurred at the intersection of Pedro A. Pérez and Varona streets, the man was taken by ambulance to a medical facility, as reported in a Facebook post.
A person named Yoreibis Matos stated that the victim, the elderly gentleman, was in poor condition.
Two other accidents were reported this weekend in various locations across Cuba.
A few kilometers from the city of Las Tunas, on the way to the neighboring province of Holguín, a truck overturned on the side of Cuba's Central Highway.
There were no serious injuries reported in the incident, according to users on the Facebook group "Revolico Las 40 Tunas" this Saturday. It is unclear how many passengers were in the truck involved in the accident.
An accident that occurred last Friday in El Vedado, Havana, caused damage to a modern pickup truck that collided with a 1950s American car, commonly known in Cuba as "almendrón."
The incident occurred at 19 and M, as reported by local residents to the Facebook group known as El Vedado de Hoy.
