Cuban mercenary raps against the Havana regime from the Russian trenches

Around the Cuban, several Russian soldiers danced and celebrated his performance between laughter and comments.

A video circulating on social networks showed acuban mercenary in the service of Russia singing a rap against the Havana regime in an underground shelter surrounded by comrades in arms, both Russian and apparently Cuban.

The video, shared through the community ofReddit ‘Ukraine/Russia War Report’ shows the Cuban mercenary cheering for Cuba and asking an apparently Russian soldier to amplify the sound of a protest rap through a loudspeaker.

“Cuban singing among his ‘comrades’. The Cuban is enlisted in the Russian troops fighting against Ukraine,” the war news profile said through the social network X.UKR 24 News, sharing a fragment of the video.

Around the Cuban, several Russian soldiers danced and celebrated his performance between laughter and comments. Apparently, two more soldiers in the group could be mercenaries of Cuban nationality.

Nothing is known about the identity of the mercenary rapper, nor his location. The images suggest that it would be in an underground shelter typical of a line of trenches, possibly on the battle front between Russia and Ukraine.

Although this editorial team tried to find the author and the title of the song from the lyrics that the mercenary sang, it was impossible to identify him. The fragment of the rap recorded on video goes something like this:

"I'm going to tell the things that happen in my Havana / the stones, the protests, 'fajasones' with the 'fiana' / send them running because the yard is getting hot / they turned the patrols upside down with my friends / they put them with the stores in MLC / and we're going to queue to quench our thirst / the chicken is gone but I couldn't manage / to run through the portals, daddy, I didn't even have lunch / the guards quartered, San Isidro mutinous / the pure ones gathering to pay attention to the errands / now the salaries of these shameless dogs have gone up / the errands in the warehouse right now are censored / the kids without school because of the pandemic / falling into crime because of the pandemic / we will be like Che, that was the old school / When Che was a murderer, that's what my grandmother told me / and San Isidro is stuck in all the neighborhoods of Havana / because they have us squeezed as they please / Díaz-Canel, hey, no one will unload you / for all those laws... [cuts off]".

Recently, another video on social networks showed two Cubans fighting as mercenaries in the war in Ukraineshooting bursts into the air to remember their compatriots who died on the front.

“This is for our loved ones, the Cubans,” one of them is heard saying in the video. “This is a tribute that we are paying to our fallen brothers. We want to demonstrate how we Cubans fire men, we fire men,” says the other.

In mid-March, another video recorded by the Ukrainian military showed the interrogation ofa Cuban mercenary captured during a combat action.

CyberCuba He searched social networks and found that the young man's name isFrank Darío Jarrosay Manfuga, and is a musician affiliated with the Danza Libre Company, resident in Guantánamo and an industrial engineer with academic training.

"We see photographs, videos from the Russian side where many mercenaries from Cuba are seen," said the press chief of the Ukrainian Committee for the Treatment of Prisoners of War in a press conference held in kyiv.Petro Yatsenko, who reproached Havana for its tolerance towards the recruitment of Cubans by Russia, despite reports that many travel deceived and have died on the front.

"We cannot affirm that it is a (Cuban) state program, but we know that no one (in Cuba) opposes it," he declared.
