A Cuban managed to succeed in the United States by setting up his own traveling business with which he can carry out the activity he studied and that he likes the most: doing ultrasounds.
Yusniel Morejón, a native of Consolación del Sur, in Pinar del Río, has been visiting homes in Miami for a decade to perform ultrasounds on pregnant women who want to know the sex of their baby.
Morejón trained in Cuba as an ultrasound imaging specialist. He later traveled to Venezuela as part of a medical mission and deserted. After arriving in the United States, he realized how backward that branch was in his country.
"The equipment in Cuba is too archaic, in black and white, they don't have dopplers... When I arrived here I learned about this, when I saw it for the first time I said: 'wow, this can't be reality,'" he toldTelemundo 51.
In Miami he founded his company, which he calledImaging with love (Making images with love), because it brings happiness to families, who can see in the comfort of their homes what the baby that is about to be born will be like.
"Now I have something that is 8K, which is the baby as if it were outside, inside, it is the latest thing that has come out. That is really revolutionizing the world, and everyone wants that package, they like to see it like that," he said .
"It is an image that is processed after the 3D ultrasound is done. It is the best," he stressed.
