Cuban explains why she has not left Spain for the United States: "The issue of weapons is horrible"

Cuban lists the reasons why she has not left Spain for the United States

A Cuban resident in Spain commented on the reasons why she decided to stay in the European countrywhen he left Cuba despite having families and friends who went to the United States.

The user who shared her reasons for not moving to the other side of the pond was the Cuban chef Dailis Ferrer, known for her Instagram account @recetacubana, who with his video provoked an avalanche of comments, many of them critical, from Cubans living in the United States.

"When I arrived in Spain, everyone thought it was going to be the intermediate country before I went to the United States, like my family and friends did", he said before explaining his reasons.

The first reason why Cubans choose life in Spain over the United States is the quality of life. "Life is calmer than in the United States. It is more familiar, more welcoming."The Spanish are very similar to the Cubans in that sense.", argument.

Your second reason is security. "Spain is safer than the United States, although the rate of violence has increased only in certain areas. The issue of weapons in the United States is horrifying, you can find them anywhere and anyone can have them", he pointed.

Other reasons are the language, an advantage since it is the same, the climate or the food. "Where I live there is the best weather all year round. Neither too cold nor too hot. It is perfect. Another reason why I love living in Spain is that from here you can move to any country in the European Union, from The United States is more complicated. The food in Spain is delicious. No matter where you are in Spain, you will find very good quality food," he added in the video.

Despite all these reasons, the Cuban recognizes that there are many things why she has thought about going to the United States.

The reactions to these comparisons have not been long in coming, and many Cubans from the United States commented on the Instagram publication.

"I think you are quite poorly educated about life in the USA, and let's put things in context. The best credit system in the world is in the USA, for cars, houses, electrical equipment and appliances. The best passport in the world is in the USA ","Do not compare the United States with Spain, since it does not even come close to it", "Spain is wonderful...but with US money", "With your mentality, stay in Spain. Nowadays anyone picks up a phone and starts talking nonsense thinking they know it all", "Your reasons are respected but I think that regarding the issue of weapons you should educate yourself more and know why in this country it is legal to have them and speaking of traveling, when you become an American citizen you have the doors of the world open, something that does not happen as a Spanish citizen. And remember when. The USA sneezes, the rest of the countries already have pneumonia", "I marvel at how people who have never lived in the United States give their opinions with such conviction on some topics without knowing them", "It is not necessary to speak badly of one place to praise another. Saying what you like about yours was enough. Too bad" or "She says what a variety of food, she doesn't know everything Miami has to offer... Imagine the rest of the United States."

These are just some of the comments read in the post.
