Motorist injured by impact of a passenger car in Matanzas

The driver of the engine suffered injuries to his leg, but was rescued immediately. The accident occurred in the Pueblo Nuevo neighborhood, in the city of Matanzas.

A motorcyclist was injured in a car accident recorded this Thursday in the Pueblo Nuevo neighborhood, located in the city of Matanzas, according to official media reports.

The incident involved a motor vehicle with two passengers and a rented car, the latter did not respect a stop sign and collided with the light vehicle, causing serious injuries to its driver, the official newspaper reported. Giron in Facebook.

In the published images it is seen that part of the engine was left under the car, and the latter impacted head-on.

The motorcycle driver showed symptoms of inflammation in one of his legs immediately after the accident occurred, while the passenger showed no signs of injuries, according to the publication.

The injured person was rescued in time, the official media reported without giving details of the healthcare center where the motorcyclist was taken.

The neighbors at the scene of the incident, at the intersection of San Rafael, corner of San Carlos, warned that Accidents are frequent because drivers do not respect the stop sign.

This week, another accident involving a car and an engine occurred in Havana.

The motorcyclist was slightly injured after hitting an almond tree, according to reports on social networks.

In the province of Guantanamo, an elderly man had injuries to his an incident involving a motor and a bicycle.

After the incident, which occurred at the intersection of Pedro A. Pérez and Varona streets, the man was taken by ambulance to a health center, according to a publication in Facebook.
