Relatives ofthree Cuban women, victims of a tragic traffic accident in Hialeah, request financial help to cover the medical expenses of the only survivor and the funerals of the two deceased.
They lost their lives in the eventYarina Garcia Hernandez, 39 years old, and his auntGloria Esther Hernandez, 71 years old. Yarina's mother, calledLiliana Hernandez Molina, 65, is in critical condition in a Miami hospital.
"In the early hours of April 24, our family received the worst news that could be received. In a fatal car accidentwe lost our sister, aunt and our mother is in critical condition"he wrote on the platformGoFundMe Yipsy Osorio, who organizes the fundraiser.
"Our family is heartbroken, devastated and will never be the same. We appreciate any contribution you can provide to honor their lives. We ask for donations to help with Lili's medical expenses, and funeral arrangements for Yarina and Gloria," he said.
The goal is to get $60,000.
The fundraising fund was created this Thursday and as of the writing of this note, $1,250 has been deposited.
The women had gone out to shop when the car they were in was hit by a truck in which two teenagers, ages 14 and 15, were traveling.
Initially the journalist fromUnivisionJavier Díaz reported that the crash involved three vehicles, two of which collided and a third that ended up violently entering the yard of a home.
Díaz spoke of two injured people, including a minor, who would be one of the teenagers who was driving his car.
