Mexican authorities arrested three Cubans in Cancun who had kidnapped another individual of the same nationality in an abandoned house in that spa city.
In an operation carried out by elements of the Municipal Secretariat of Citizen Security and Transit of Benito Juárez, the successful rescue of a person who had been kidnapped in region 224 of Cancún, in the state of Quintana Roo, was achieved, the media reported.Reporters Now on Facebook.
Likewise, they managed to arrest three individuals of Cuban nationality, identified as Yosbel “L”, Roinel “M” and Monroy “O”, who were caught in the criminal act.
The events occurred when the agents were carrying out prevention and surveillance patrols in the 215 superblock of Cancún, and received a report through the emergency number 911, alerting about suspicious movements in an uninhabited house in the area.
Upon arriving at the scene, the agents heard thecries for help of a person who was being held against his will.
Officers intervened to rescuethe victim and secure the three individuals responsible for the kidnapping.
The released person was immediately taken to a hospital for medical attention and clinical evaluation.
His health is stable and his life is not in danger.
The three suspects were placed at the disposal of the State Attorney General's Office for the corresponding investigations for the crime of kidnapping.
