Cuban prospect Roberto Campos reunites with part of his family in the US.

The player left a Cuban delegation when they were playing a little league tournament in the Dominican Republic in July 2016.

The 20-year-old Cuban baseball playerRoberto Campos, lived an exciting and unique experience when he was able to reunite with part of his family on a playing field, after several years without being able to physically hug them.

“Cuban prospect Roberto Campos was reunited yesterday with part of his family at an advanced Class-A match,” sports journalist Francys Romero said on his Facebook profile.

Likewise, the reporter assured that “after 8 years they were able to see him play again on a baseball field.”

Roberto Campos was 13 years old when he decided to desert with his brother Raúl, one year older, at the end of an international children's tournament in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in the summer of 2016.
