A fire declared this Friday in the town of La Ceniza, inVilla Clara, affected the line that supplies electricity to four towns in the area.
The incident, whose causes were not reported by the provincial Electric Company, occurred in the afternoon and affected five poles of the power line.
As a result, the towns of La Ceniza, Manajanabo, Miller and Falcón were left without service, but began to receive electricity through the Placetas substation.
“This was an immediate solution, but tomorrow the line will be restored and these circuits will resume their power through the corresponding Substation,” the state company stated in itssocial networks.
Likewise, he warned the neighbors that "while things return to normal, these towns may suffer, due to overloading of the Substation,some absence of electrical energy during the night or early morning”.
At the time of writing this note, neither the authorities nor the official media offer details of the event, nor update the results of the work to solve the incident.
At the beginning of April, a large forest fire took place near the Hotel Los Caneyes and the Formatur School, in Santa Clara, province of Villa Clara.
The accident affected the electrical fluid in circuit 170 of the capital of Villa Clara. There was only one home near the affected area and the government assured that its inhabitants were offered protection.

The fire, at the exit of the Gran Panel Electrical Substation of Santa Clara, left a 34.5 KV line on circuit 129 without service, which also caused the blackout of circuits 40, 28, 168, 170, 167 and 171 of the city.
