Cuban dancer makes his dream come true in the United States

Ángel Ramírez, and his two brothers César, Marcos, are triplets. They took their first steps in dance by training at the National Ballet School of Cuba.

The young Cuban Angel Ramirez, has achieved his dream of becoming a professional dancer, in the Atlanta Ballet company in the United States.

Ángel and his brothers César and Marcos are triplets. They were born 25 years ago in Sancti Spíritus, in the city of Trinidad. When they were little they moved to Havana and there they took their first steps in dance, training in the National Ballet School of Cuba.

These young people have conquered a space in ballet in the United States. Ángel develops his career in Atlanta, where he stands out as a figure of Hispanic origin.

Atlanta Ballet is a multicultural company made up of 40 dancers. They fuse classical repertoire and contemporary dance. Ángel has been in this institution for three years, which he claims has marked a great learning experience in his career as a dancer.

"When I arrived in the United States I realized that dance here is a little different. We have to create more versatility in movement. It was a transition in teaching. Now it's time to continue with that," Ángel explained.

He noted that he has found a company without ranks, where opportunities are created for different people to dance the various roles.

Ángel has been away from Cuba for six years and says that what he misses most is his family, especially his parents, the artists. Remberto Ramirez and Marta Castellanos.

"I miss the food a little, my dad's seasoning," said the smiling young Cuban in an interview for Univision 34 Atlanta, where the achievements of the Colombian dancer were also shown Miguel Angel Montoya in United States.
