The family of the young Karildi Marín, who disappeared on December 14th in Havana, is desperate as, nearly six months after the event, they have no news of her, although they maintain hope of receiving them at some point.
Yoandri Marín, the girl's brother, posted on Facebook this Monday that "it's been five months and a bit and we still don't know anything," reiterating that she "left home on December 14, 2023, at 8:00 pm, heading towards El Cerro."
However, he pointed out that "the family has not lost hope of knowing something about my sister" and shared his phone number again, imploring people to report any information, no matter the time, to 54291630.
Karildi Marín's father remembered this past Mother's Day that his daughter, who is the mother of a young girl, is still missing.
Tomás Marín shared on Facebook several photos of Karildi in her role as a mother, including one of when she was pregnant shortly before giving birth, and others with her daughter, who is just one year old.
"A path of blessings for my granddaughter and her mom," he wrote in the Denouncing Crimes in Cuba group.
The poor performance of the police in the case of the young woman's disappearance has been criticized on several occasions by Cuban internet users, who have denounced the inefficiency of their work.
Previously, the complaints and demands for a better investigation came from the woman's family, but the case has sparked the solidarity of many people.
