Former Miami-Dade firefighter subdues thief in Barcelona, Spain.

The expertise of a thief in Spain was reduced to ashes when he had the misfortune of facing the strength, speed, and skill of his victim, the personal trainer and former Miami-Dade County firefighter, American John Kell.

"I had my chain stolen in Barcelona and obviously (the robber) didn't know that I ran a 4.6-second (40-yard dash) in college," the protagonist commented on Instagram, while sharing the video of the culprit's capture.

A thief in Spain tried to rob coach John, a retired Miami Dade firefighter and owner of livefreegym while he was on vacation. The text received hundreds of reactions and comments, in which the coach is described as a hero and nicknamed Wolverine.

Without a doubt, Kell's capture and abilities paid off because, in addition to stopping the attacker, it drew attention to his business established in 2013, which is focused on personal training, CrossFit, and online coaching.

In his LinkedIn profile, the American details that he started as a "firefighter and emergency medical technician," experiences that highlighted the essential role of physical resilience and mental strength in intense situations.

Driven by passion for physical challenges, he transitioned to the exciting world of martial arts and later to the realm of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. "My extensive experience, combined with my deep understanding of body dynamics, positioned me as a valuable mentor for numerous aspiring athletes," he recounts on the largest professional online network.
