Eduardo Antonio demands respect for his work: "I am an artist who makes a living from singing and acting, and shows are paid for."

The singer reacted to a video circulating on social media where he is seen explaining to some people at the Tamalazo de Krome that they must pay the entrance fee to see his show.

Eduardo Antonio is not one to beat around the bush when attacked on social media and when they try to damage his career and image.

For a few days now, a video has been circulating in which El Divo is seen explaining to some people at the Tamalazo de Krome that they must pay the entrance fee to see his show.

The images triggered many criticisms among internet users, but the artist decided to expose what really happened last Sunday during the family matinee at this place through his Instagram profile.

"I like things clear, they say clear accounts keep friendships. There is a video circulating of someone who recorded me last Sunday at the Tamalazo, at the moment when I told them that if they were going to stay to watch the show, it would be fair for them to pay the entrance fee like the rest of the people who were there early," the singer explained.

“If they thought I was going to be intimidated by this video, I am not afraid of anything and at this point in the game I decide, even if it's hell,” stated El Divo.

In the video, Eduardo Antonio referred to the fact that lately, the Tamalazo de Krome "has been very eye-catching, has caught people's attention. The thing is that it has been successful for over a year and a half, and success bothers many people."

"I am an artist who, thanks to God and my work, the work of my office, and my husband's work, works every weekend, but I am an artist who makes a living from singing and performing, and the shows are paid," the singer said, and took the opportunity to add that all international artists charge for their shows: "Why underestimate Cuban artists? No, my shows also get paid, and they have a price, and the price is simply decided by me."

"I deserve to be paid for, I give myself my worth, I say this because I feel that there is a lot of mishandling with my story, with my life, with my content. You know what? I am not going to give up, I will keep telling my story and I will continue to raise my voice for my colleagues, because Cuban artists also deserve respect, and respect begins with ourselves," stated El Divo leaving no room for doubt.

Several of Eduardo's followers on Instagram reacted to his video endorsing his words: "Absolutely right, the artist doesn't live on air"; "The best thing about you is that you don't envy anyone and work like a mule to achieve everything you have"; "You are absolutely right, it's your job and work is not given away. If they want to enjoy your work, then they have to pay"; "It's fair, for God's sake, every artist, comedian, that's their job and people have to pay to see their show"; "Work should be respected."
