A teenager is hospitalized after suffering a sexual assault in Santiago de Cuba.
The incident occurred on Tuesday night when the minor was at a street party in the Artes y Oficios neighborhood, in the main city.
According to the independent journalist Yosmany Mayeta Labrada, the victim, who is between 14 and 15 years old, resides in El Polvorín, a neighborhood that belongs to Reparto Chicharrones.
Mayeta Labrada couldn't give many details, as although she has received some reports about her health, due to the nature of the event, she cannot disclose them without family authorization.
"The abuser is a man who was out on parole, as he is serving a sentence in prison, also for the same crime," he reported on his Facebook.
Neighbors in the neighborhood reported that he has already been captured and is currently under police custody.
The reporter asked other possible victims who can and wish to tell their story about the aggressor that their confidentiality will be respected due to the sensitive nature of the issue.
