Residents in the Cuban province of Cienfuegos alerted through social media about the presence of a supposed fugitive rapist in that city in central Cuba.
Several Facebook profiles identified the fugitive as Dunién Hernández, a resident of Reina Street, Cienfuegos, who allegedly attempted to rape a 14-year-old girl on Tuesday.
They explained that on Tuesday the man "attacked a young woman on street 35 between 52 and 54".
"He put a knife to her neck and raped her, the police tried to catch him but without success!" details a post by internet user Jennifer Sánchez Rodríguez.
The woman underlines that previously Hernández had raped a 14-year-old girl and stabbed a man from the Buenavista neighborhood.
Cienfuegos is terrified by this, he is still on the street!" assured the publication.
However, this version differs from that of neighbors of the alleged victim from Tuesday. They claim that the man tried to rape the daughter of a woman named Yamitsys, who is a teacher at Armando Mestre Elementary School. He ripped all her clothes off but the girl started to scream loudly.
The minor's mother was taken to the police to give a statement on Wednesday morning, they assured.
The woman's neighbors would have come out to witness the moment when the police went to pick her up to take her to the station so that she could make a formal complaint against the aggressor, according to a photo published in the comments section.
The news has outraged the residents of the city of Cienfuegos, who proposed on social media to take to the streets armed with machetes and sticks to catch the man, who was seen at noon in the Buenavista neighborhood.
This Wednesday, another alleged sexual aggressor was arrested in Santiago de Cuba, this time a man nicknamed "Timba" who on Tuesday night also allegedly raped a hospitalized teenager aged between 14 and 15 years old.
The Cuban regime stated that the police had to fire a warning shot into the air to disperse the residents of Santiago, who were trying to lynch the rapist.
