Cuban Osleys Iglesias delivers stunning knockout in Montreal, Canada.

The images of the struggle have gone viral, and many believe it could be chosen as the KO of the year.

Considered a rising figure and full of qualities to shine in professional boxing, the Cuban Osleys Iglesias (11-0, 10 KOs) achieved one of the most impressive knockouts in 2024, to the point of leaving his opponent, the Russian Evgeny Shvedenko (16-2-1, 7), convulsing on the canvas.

At the Casino Montreal in Canada, Iglesias maintained his unbeaten record and left his opponent in very bad condition, who received prompt medical assistance in the first defeat by knockout of his career. In fact, he had only fallen once in his previous 18 fights, which demonstrates the power of the Cuban.

The images of the struggle have gone viral and many believe it could be chosen as the KO of the year, although there are still many fight nights ahead.

I thank God very much for my opponent being in good health. We are two people wanting to be the winner, thanks be to God for allowing me to be the best of the night," the super middleweight wrote on Facebook.

At 26 years old and based in Germany, the Cuban is expected to debut soon in the United States and have the opportunity to shine in major events.

As a member of the Cuban national team, Iglesias stood out for the strength of his punches and the speed in the ring. He also had close matches against the two-time Olympic champion Arlen López, although he lost four times in the Playa Girón tournaments.

Currently, boxing from the island is experiencing interesting moments, with well-known figures such as Erislandy Lara, Yordenis Ugás, Robeisy Ramírez, David Morrel, and Rances Barthelemy.

Likewise, Andy Cruz, William Scull, the brothers Leinier and Dainier Peró, among others, maintain an upward trajectory, which hints at a promising future and great performances.
