Cuban shares video of migration route: "I fulfill my dream, but the distance hurts"

The young man expressed that, despite fulfilling his dreams, he still misses his family.

A Cuban shared on social media last Thursday a video summarizing his journey from Cuba to the United States, passing through Nicaragua and Mexico, accompanied by an emotional message: "Dreams come true, it's true, but the distance hurts a lot."

Yohand Cenko expressed on Instagram: "The Cuban, the immigrant, has to overcome many obstacles to achieve their dream," mentioning painful moments such as the separation from children, grandparents, and parents.

"For giving everyone a better future," said the young man, who admitted that he misses his family too much.

The publication became a space for reflection and complaints.

On Instagram, a person named @danielachina44es commented: "Synonymous with pain, but also with overcoming, I went through worse things when crossing the border to the United States, but I do not regret having done it because only I could fight for a better future for my son."

On the other hand, @liemenriquez regretted the aftermath of emigration on families: "Young people with and without family, seeking a better future, it crushes your heart, and you remember when your only daughter took a suitcase by herself and told you 'I'm leaving,' it's very tough."

Recently, another young Cuban shared an inspiring video of her journey on a raft from the island to the United States, escaping from communism and in search of conquering her dreams.

The TikToker Yeniffer Rubido shared her video in December, but it continues to generate debate on social media, where it has accumulated hundreds of comments in support of Cuban rafters.
