Good news! Don Omar's cancer operation was a success. The reggaeton artist himself announced it this Tuesday on his social media, a day after revealing that he had been diagnosed with cancer without giving more details about his situation.

In a brief message he shared on Instagram, alongside a photo of himself making the victory sign with his fingers, he announced that his surgery was a success and that he is recovering.

"Today I woke up without cancer and grateful. Thank you for your well wishes, prayers, and thousands of messages," wrote the 46-year-old artist. "My surgery was a complete success and now I have to recover," added the singer, who has been showered with comments of blessings and joy for the success of his surgery.

After announcing this Monday that he was suffering from cancer, the Puerto Rican artist received hundreds of messages of support, strength, and love from followers, colleagues, and other recognized figures in the entertainment world.

Among the colleagues who dedicated their best wishes in his fight against cancer were Daddy Yankee and Alexander Delgado, among many others.

Speedy recovery, Don Omar!
