Cuban in Mexico: "I brought all my saints and I don't know what else to promise them to finally leave."

The Cuban woman has shared in this video several customs from Mexico that have surprised her.

A young Cuban woman, currently residing in Mexico, expressed in a video everything that catches her attention about the country where she lives, sharing her experience in a fun piece of content on social media.

Patricia Izquierdo shared on Instagram that she brought all her saints with her, "and I don't know what else to promise in order for me to finally get out of here," suggesting that she is waiting for an appointment on the CBP One platform to be able to reach the United States.

The young woman found it striking that in Mexico, for everything involving eating or drinking, purified water sold in jugs must be used, "because tap water is harmful," she said.

Similarly, the young woman said that in this country she has had to wear a coat all the time, arguing that "here the sun burns you to a crisp."

"I am Cuban in Mexico, and there are still many who do not understand me when I speak," commented Izquierdo, emphasizing that the differences in the Spanish of both countries often create communication barriers.

The young woman ended the video with an empathetic touch: "Like you, I want to get out of here."

People born in the Caribbean country, whether they reside or are passing through Mexico, experience a cultural shock from which they learn and blend with Cuban traditions.

Recently, a young woman shared a video on social media showing how to prepare a recipe for Mexican tacos, delving into the culture of that country, but adding Cuban flavor and style.

"To connect a little more with the (Mexican) culture, I decided to make some homemade tacos, with a touch of my own style," said Yoliene, a Cuban, in a video posted on Facebook.
