A user shared recent data on the injured person on the Facebook profile "Bus and Truck Accidents," noting that he was operated on one part of the arm but still needs additional surgical interventions, which the hospital currently lacks resources to provide.

"The boy involved in the riquimbili accident in Camagüey had only one part of his arm operated on. They must take him back to the operating room to operate on the other part of his arm and the leg with the fractured femur, but there are no painkillers or the necessary supplies to perform the surgery," the witness said.

He pointed out that the young man has suffered unbearable pain and there are no pain relievers at the health center. "His arm is broken in several places and his fingers are broken. The surgeon says that it is possible that the arm turns black, and if so, he will lose it. Thanks to the management on Facebook, something has been able to be resolved," he said.

Several people have shown solidarity with the wounded person, and the relatives have managed to bring the medication to the hospital.

A thousand thanks to all for each one of your supportive comments. On Monday, they will take him back to the room, but then they must operate on him again. We have already obtained the painkillers, and right now he managed to fall asleep," said the user Victoria González.

The surgeon has warned that the arm could become necrotic, which would lead to its amputation. This case highlights the serious situation of the healthcare system in Cuba, where the lack of basic medical supplies puts the lives and physical integrity of patients at risk.
