A man was arrested in Matanzas for stealing electronic equipment and a musical instrument.

Abel González Sánchez was arrested after committing several robberies in the city of Matanzas, which included a laptop, a cell phone, and a clarinet, according to the police.

The Cuban Police arrested Abel González Sánchez, accused of committing several robberies in the city of Matanzas, as reported by sources connected to the Ministry of the Interior.

Gonzáles was captured after carrying out a series of robberies on different days, which included electronic devices and a musical instrument, according to a note published on the pro-government profile "Con Todos La Victoria", on Facebook.

One of the robberies occurred on the morning of June 6th, when the individual entered a residence in the Pueblo Nuevo neighborhood, from which he stole a laptop and a cell phone.

The next day, the suspect visited another house in West Matanzas, whose owner - identified by the name of Enrique - had a clarinet and wanted to know its price. The man handed it over to Gonzalez, who left the house and took it without permission.

After receiving reports of the incidents, the police conducted a search at the home of the alleged thief, where they seized all the stolen items.

During the investigations, it was discovered that González was not a first-time offender, but had multiple criminal records.

In the midst of the deep economic crisis that Cuba is going through, in recent years, there has been a notable increase in criminal activities in the country, keeping the population on edge due to the authorities' inefficiency and neglect.

Residents in the city of Las Tunas captured a man this week who also stole a cell phone from a house and had in his possession six other phones, which he allegedly stole the same day.

A young musician from the Symphony Orchestra of Holguin turned to social media seeking help to recover his violin, which was stolen while he was taking driving lessons.
