A Cuban talks about what she values about living in Uruguay: "The fact of being able to eat any type of meat..."

A young Cuban woman in Uruguay, known on TikTok as @bby.laury, shared a video on her account titled "Appreciating the fact of living in Uruguay," in which she highlighted several aspects that, although they might be simple for Uruguayans, are extremely valuable to her as an immigrant.

In her video, @bby.laury expressed her appreciation for the possibility of "eating any type of meat" and the abundance in the stores, stating that "in Cuba, that is something that is very difficult."

He also commented on freedom of expression and the rights enjoyed in the South American country, something that significantly impacted him: "to live in a country where you have rights, you can express yourself, you can talk, you can say whatever you want in whatever way you want, that is something to be applauded." Additionally, he called for reflecting on and valuing these freedoms, indicating that "not all of us have the same opportunities."

His message resonated among platform users and sparked supportive and welcoming comments.
