William Levy began filming his first movie in Spain, "Under a Volcano," a romantic action comedy directed by Martín Cuervo, in which he shares the leading role with Maggie Civantos, the actress from the popular series "Vis a Vis."

This project marks a new collaboration between Secuoya Studios and the artist's own production company, William Levy Entertainment, a partnership that already resulted in the series "Montecristo," also starring Levy.

The plot of "Under a Volcano" revolves around Mario Torres, a military pilot played by Levy, and Dani, a vulcanologist concerned about the imminent reactivation of a volcano. Their love blooms amidst chaos, as they face challenges both natural and personal.

The cast of the film also includes renowned figures such as Adriana Torrebejano, Fabiola Guajardo, Elia Galera, Pino Montesdeoca, and Antón Lofer.

William Levy expressed to Secuoya his enthusiasm for this project, highlighting the quality of the technical and artistic team: "I am delighted to return to Spain to embark on my second project in this country and happy to do it with my first film with Secuoya Studios."

The filming of the feature film will take place entirely in Tenerife, and the production is in the hands of Eduardo Campoy and David Martínez, with Levy and Jeff Goldberg as executive producers, and it will be distributed by Beta Fiction Spain.

Here we share with you the synopsis of this movie published by Secuoya Studios on their official website:

When Mario Torres, a military captain and pilot, arrives in Tenerife, the eruption of the volcano seems to have subsided. Dani, an expert vulcanologist, fears an imminent violent reactivation. This leads to a conflict with the scientific committee of the organization in charge. With that threat looming over the town of Garachico, the love and passion that arises between them is as inevitable as any natural disaster. Once the threat is confirmed, both will have to fight against the volcano and their own feelings.
