William Gutiérrez Levy is a Cuban model, television actor, film actor, and voice actor who was born on August 29, 1980, in Havana, Cuba.

Despite having been born in Havana, at the age of 15, still a minor, his stepfather obtained political asylum in the United States, and William legally emigrated with him.

He began studying Business Administration but did not complete it to pursue his true calling: acting and modeling. Hired by Next Model agency, he participated in two reality television shows, Isla de la tentación (2002) and Protagonistas de novelas 2 (2002).

He studied acting in Miami, Los Angeles, and Mexico.

He began his acting career in telenovelas with Venevision International. His debut was in Olvidarte jamás (2005), and from there, he joined the cast of Mi vida eres tú (2006) and Acorralada (2007). He made his debut in Mexican television with Pasión (2007-2008). His first leading role was in Cuidado con el ángel (2008-2009), which was broadcast by Univision. Since then, his career as a telenovela actor, primarily in leading roles, has continued without interruption: Sortilegio (Mexico, 2009), Triunfo del Amor (2010-2011), La tempestad (2013).

She has appeared in television series such as Mujeres asesinadas (Mexico, 2010) and Single Ladies (VH1, 2012), and has acted in films including Retazos de vida (2008), The Single Mums Club (2014), and Addicted (2014). She has also ventured into theater, serving as the lead and co-producer of Un amante a la medida (Mexico, 2009), later renamed Un amante perfecto (2010). She lent her voice to a character in Planet 51.

In 2012, he/she secured third place in the final of the reality show Dancing with the Stars.

He was an actor in the music video for the song “I'm into you” by Jennifer López.

She was the face of the 2010 Dolce & Gabbana clothing advertising campaign.

He has been selected several times by People magazine as one of the 50 Most Beautiful.

Personally, he was married to the American actress of Mexican descent, Elizabeth Gutiérrez, whom he had met during his participation in Protagonistas de Novelas 2. From this relationship, their two children were born.
