William Gutiérrez Levy is a model, television actor, film actor, and voice actor from Cuba, born on August 29, 1980, in Havana, Cuba.
Despite being born in Havana, at the age of 15, still a minor, his stepfather obtained political asylum in the United States, and William legally emigrated with him.
He started studying Business Administration but did not complete the course to delve into his true calling: acting and modeling. Hired by Next Model agency, he participated in two reality TV shows, Isla de la Tentación (2002) and Protagonistas de Novelas 2 (2002).
He studied acting in Miami, Los Angeles, and Mexico.
His acting career began in telenovelas with Venevision International. He made his debut with Olvidarte jamás (2005) and subsequently joined the cast of Mi vida eres tú (2006) and Acorralada (2007). With Pasión (2007-2008), he made his debut in Mexican television. His first leading role was in Cuidado con el ángel (2008-2009), which was re-broadcast by Univision. From this point on, his career as a telenovela actor, primarily in lead roles, has continued uninterrupted: Sortilegio (Mexico, 2009), Triunfo del Amor (2010-2011), La tempestad (2013).
She has appeared in television series such as Mujeres asesinadas (Mexico, 2010) and Single Ladies (VH1, 2012) and acted in films including Retazos de vida (2008), The Single Mums Club (2014), and Addicted (2014). She has also ventured into theater, serving as the lead and co-producer of Un amante a la medida (Mexico, 2009), which was later renamed Un amante perfecto (2010). She provided her voice for a character in Planet 51.
In 2012, he/she secured third place in the finals of the reality show Dancing with the Stars.
He was an actor in the music video for the song “I'm into you” by Jennifer López.
She was the face of the 2010 Dolce & Gabbana clothing advertising campaign.
He has been selected multiple times by People magazine as one of the 50 most beautiful.
Personally, he was married to the American actress of Mexican descent, Elizabeth Gutiérrez, whom he met during his participation in Protagonistas de Novelas 2. From this relationship, their two children were born.
