An old building located on the corner of Consulado and Virtudes, in Central Havana, suffered a partial collapse on Friday morning, as reported by Facebook users.

The internet user "Ángelus Domini" shared images of the collapsed house, which would have lost the exterior corner.

Rescue teams and personnel apparently evaluating the condition of the building were mobilized to the scene and were seen working among the rubble on the street.

A resident at the location said in the comments on the post that everyone was fine.

The landslides in Cuba have increased during the current rainy season, which last week caused flooding in several areas of Havana.

Last Wednesday it was reported that Cuban Ismael Ramos Suárez is hospitalized at Calixto García Hospital, due to injuries suffered from the collapse of the roof of a building in Old Havana, following the rains that occurred last weekend in the capital.

The collapse occurred after seven o'clock at night at Villegas number 433 between Muralla and Teniente Rey streets. "The rest of the buildings are out of danger," assured the governmental entity.

Four days before, another partial collapse had occurred on Monte street between Águila and Ángeles, also in Old Havana, which left one person injured, according to neighbors in the area, although the CAM presented a different story: "There were no injuries or human losses".

However, images taken by residents of the neighborhood contradicted what was stated by the authorities, as at least one person was injured, as it was documented in photographs and videos posted by internet users.

Likewise, social media users reported on Saturday the partial collapse of a house at the corner of Florencia and San Gabriel streets in El Cerro, where - according to reports - there were no victims.
