Yulién Oviedo participates in an episode of "Tras la Huella" in Havana.

The artist himself let rumors spread that he had been arrested.

A few weeks ago, a video of an alleged arrest of Yulién Oviedo in Havana began circulating on social media. However, it was just a recording for an episode of the Cuban police series "Tras la Huella," although the artist himself fueled the speculation.

In the images, the singer could be seen with his head bleeding, resisting the arrest, confronting the police, and many believed it was real.

During those days, Yulién shared a post on his Instagram, further fueling the rumors: "A man is not measured by the times he falls but by the times he gets up, the important thing is that I am well and so is my family, I will have news for you soon."

The media outlet CubaHerald contacted the Cuban YouTuber Adrian Fernandez, who confirmed that Yulién called him to tell him that everything was a setup for the recording of the police episode, and even hid from the public eye for a day before revealing the matter as an exclusive scoop.

"That image was leaked and he asked me not to say anything with a clear intention. So the doubt is already resolved, he was not arrested or beaten, for all the people who were worried," the influencer assured that media.

Since early June, in the midst of the 63rd anniversary of the Ministry of the Interior, and until August 25, Cubavisión channel will broadcast the new episodes of "Tras la Huella", including this one where Yulién showcases his acting skills.
