The young singer Elioveliz Pérez, known as the Cuban "José José," denounced last Friday on social media that some people are taking advantage of his popularity and the affection that the people have for him to ask for money in his name.
"Be careful, someone is impersonating me and asking for money to record a new song, but it's a lie," Pérez warned on Facebook while reminding what his official account and group are.
"If they receive requests from profiles or pages asking for money, be careful, I would never do that," emphasized the young musician, who recently reaffirmed his popularity by giving a sold-out concert in Havana.
The talented young man took the opportunity to remember what his official profile and group are, although he also pointed out that there are other communities "of honest fans, but be careful who you follow," he warned.
Recently, the young Pérez shared on social media the video of this first concert, held at the Lázaro Cárdenas theater and dedicated to Father's Day. Tickets sold out in just 14 hours.
Also, in recent days, the talented singer released his first ballad composed by Lenier Mesa, titled "I Suffered for Love," accompanied by a music video directed by filmmaker Freddy Loons.
Pérez has earned the affection and admiration of the Cuban people, standing out for his great physical and vocal resemblance to the Prince of Romantic Music, the Mexican José José.
