The influencer and model Ricky Schwarz, known on social media as "El Alemán Cubano," has stirred quite a commotion on TikTok with a recent video in which he mentions some of the ways to express that a woman is attractive in Cuba.
Born in Germany to a German father and a Cuban mother, and residing in Mexico according to his Facebook profile, Ricky blends his cultural heritage into his content, which has garnered him immense popularity on social media.
"In Cuba, we don't say 'you're hot,'" begins the young man in the viral video, which has already been viewed more than 2.9 million times in just a week.
"My girl, you're a knockout, a stunning figure, a sweet treat; with you, I've lost track of time, and down there, everything feels like strawberry melon. I swear on my mother's honor that I'm not a street sweeper, but I'm here to sweep you off your feet," rhymes the young man, using phrases typical on the island to express that a woman is attractive.
The reactions have been overwhelming, and alongside the more than 430,000 likes that the video has generated, there are over 5,200 comments and nearly 42,000 saves.
Despite the numerous compliments, not everyone was convinced by his video: "In Cuba, we do say 'you’re hot,' but that other thing you said—I don't know where you got that from."; "Too many words, I got bored halfway through."; "If someone told me that, I’d be laughing my head off."; "Weren't you German in another video?"; "I haven't met a Cuban who speaks like that."; "What do you mean in Cuba? I thought you were German. Where are you actually from?" some people told him
Others, on the other hand, did not hesitate to shower him with compliments and share the impact he had on them. His video has particularly resonated with women, who have eagerly expressed their feelings in the comments section.

Regardless of the Cuban identity of his phrases or whether his accent reveals that he has Cuban blood running through his veins, it is undeniable that Ricky Schwarz stirs up passions on social media, where he has millions of followers: over 3.2 million on TikTok, 2.1 million on Facebook, and 1.7 million on Instagram.
