A Cuban woman in the United States has turned to TikTok to ask the community's opinion on the high cost of her Tesla insurance. The video, which quickly went viral, surpassed 400,000 views in a few hours.
The protagonist of this viral video, Yesenia Marrero (@yesis_life), owner of a Tesla electric car, expressed her amazement and frustration:
Owners of Teslas, I have a very serious question. How much do you pay for insurance? Because the price they just gave me is making me feel like it can't be true. They quoted me $865 monthly for insurance. How is that possible? This car is anti-collision, what else is there in the world? There's no car safer than this one. The insurance is more expensive than the car payment. I have had no accidents, claims, nothing. How $860 for insurance? If this is the case, bye bye Tesla," she comments incredulously while driving.
