Young Cuban woman dies in Arizona due to alleged accidental shooting

A young Cuban resident in the state of Arizona, in the United States, died last Saturday, allegedly due to an accidental gunshot inflicted by another person, according to preliminary reports.

The victim has been identified as Susel Borges Castillo, who was 22 years old and was born in Moa, Holguín. According to the crime reporter Niover Licea, she had been in the United States for between five and six months and left behind a three-year-old child in Cuba.

Licea pointed out that the circumstances in which the Cuban woman lost her life have not been clarified. According to their sources, one of the versions of the events suggests that "a friend's husband was playing with a firearm and, unfortunately, it went off", but this information has not been confirmed.

A person who identified herself as the victim's mother in the comments section of the YouTuber's channel spoke out about the tragic incident.
