The Hard Rock Stadium, located in Miami Gardens, is ready to host the Copa América final between the national teams of Argentina and Colombia starting at 8:00 p.m.
In a post on their social media account X, the Miami stadium informed that the doors will open at 5:00 p.m.
CONMEBOL, for its part, has said that the event "will be at full capacity."
During halftime, the performance of Colombian singer Shakira is expected. A presentation that has raised some concerns due to the length of the show, estimated at around 25 minutes.
The Colombian national team coach, Néstor Lorenzo, expressed his concern that the 25-minute show could harm the players.
"I can't understand it, I wish it was like the rest," said Lorenzo at a press conference. "When we go out in the 16th minute, they penalize us, but now that there is a show, we can go out in the 20th minute. The players can cool down," he added.
Normally, the halftime of soccer matches is 15 minutes, and in the case of the Copa America, if they are exceeded, they can incur a fine of $15,000.
However, regarding Shakira's performance, Alejandro Domínguez, president of CONMEBOL Copa América, issued a statement saying: "We are confident that her performance at CONMEBOL Copa América USA 2024 will enhance the message of healthy passion and unity through sports."
It is also expected that Karol G will sing the anthem of the Colombian national team, according to Local 10 News.
On Saturday, Uruguay secured third place in the Copa America after defeating Canada on penalties (4-2) following a 2-2 draw. Meanwhile, Argentina will seek to win their 16th title in this type of competition.
