Oakland Athletics dismisses Cuban baseball player Lázaro Armenteros.

The Cuban baseball player Lazaro Armenteros was released by the Oakland Athletics, after seven seasons in the Minor Leagues in pursuit of fulfilling his dream of debuting in the "Big Show" of baseball.

According to the specialized journalist Francys Romero, Armenteros did not manage to establish himself at the Double-A/Triple-A levels, and one of his weaknesses turned out to be the high strikeout rate.

The publication by the communicator on the Facebook social network details that the player born in Havana never managed to decrease the percentage of times retired through the most bitter way for a batter.

Armenteros, who is now 25 years old, was signed in 2016 for an excellent bonus of three million dollars and became the A's fifth prospect in 2019.

Additionally, according to Romero, the outfielder was on the "40-man roster" in November 2023, thanks to his power at the plate and skills to move in the outfield.
