Facebook users revealed details of the dramatic accident involving three vehicles on Thursday on Boyeros Avenue in Havana: "A driver closed her eyes for a moment, and it was enough to lose control of her car," they recounted.

A person returning from the airport who passed by the accident site in Boyero and Camagüey stopped to help and learned details of the incident from a police officer who was working on the scene, expressed in the Facebook group "ACCIDENTES BUSES & CAMIONES, por más experiencia y menos víctimas."

According to the account from the little horse, there was a motorized officer regulating traffic at the intersection where the accident occurred because there was no electricity.

"All traffic through Boyeros is stopped and Camagüey is open. The three vehicles were stopped and a Peugeot hit them from behind, first the micro, then the gazzela, and in turn, the gazzela hit the Citroën," he detailed.

The driver of the Peugeot said that "she felt unwell, a strong pain, closed her eyes, and lost control of the vehicle for a moment, enough for the accident."

According to the account, "the driver of the car was traveling with her two minor children in the back seat," and they received medical assistance immediately.

He survived because he had his seatbelt on and the airbags in the vehicle deployed, he explained.

The internet user reflects that "there was no alcohol, no race, no recklessness, there were no potholes, no missing signs, and there was police control. These are things that can happen and should lead us to reflect" on driving responsibly and carefully, he added.

Other internet users questioned whether the woman would pay for the damages to the other vehicles and urged drivers not to drive if they feel unwell.

In recent days, a young man was seen in the Cuban capital performing maneuvers while riding his motorcycle, which caused concern among drivers.

The motorcyclist zigzagged for several meters while riding along Primelles street in the Cerro municipality.

Fortunately, there was not much traffic on that Cuban road at the moment when the motorist was seen risking his life and the lives of others.

Also, last week, a spectacular accident on Avenida Boyeros was reported, involving a Lada and a Moskvitch, leaving the first vehicle overturned on the road, while the other vehicle sustained considerable damage.

Days later, the death of one of the drivers of the colliding vehicles was reported.
