Latina shares how she saves in the United States: "They can call me cheap, but I can do it myself."

Latina lists the services she no longer spends money on since arriving in the USA: "I am my own beauty salon."

A Latina has caused a sensation on TikTok by sharing a video in which she explains what beauty services she refuses to spend money on in the United States.

After eight years of living in the country, the young Venezuelan (who identifies as user @ormarystsui) explains how she has learned to perform various aesthetic treatments by herself, saving significant amounts of money.

In her video, she begins explaining the high cost of hair treatments: "First, hair is too expensive. Highlights cost 400, depending on the length you have, and if you want a haircut, it’s between 50 to 60 dollars. So I learned to do everything myself. Going to the salon is not an option."

The young woman also mentions that she doesn't get her eyelashes and eyebrows done in beauty salons. "Eyelash extensions are between 80 and 100 dollars, so I buy them and do them myself," she says. As for her eyebrows, she has found a creative and economical solution: "I also do my eyebrows with men's beard dye."

Another aspect she addresses is nails, which also represent a considerable expense. "They cost between 80 and 100 dollars. I also learned to do them myself. They can call me stingy, but I can do it myself," she confidently states.

Far from worrying about criticism, the young woman is proud of her ability to manage her own beauty routine. "I don't care if I'm criticized, but I am my own beauty salon," she concludes.

As a result of this video, many have shared their own experiences doing beauty treatments on themselves. "Oh God... and I thought I was the only one. I felt cheap, but it's expensive," "I do the same because it really is very expensive," "Literally I am like this!!! The only thing I can't manage is taking care of my hands and feet, but for everything else I only pay for my hands when it's something super important, the rest I do myself" or "Totally identified."
