Barack Obama endorses Kamala Harris's candidacy: "She will be a fantastic president of the United States."

Barack and Michelle Obama called Kamala Harris. "We will do everything we can to make sure she wins in November."

Former United States President Barack Obama has just announced his support for the nomination of Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate for the November elections.

Barack and his wife Michelle called Kamala to announce their support in the race to keep the Party in the White House.

"We told her that we believe she will be a fantastic president of the United States and that she has our full support. In this critical moment for our country, we will do everything possible to ensure that she wins in November. We hope you will join us," said the former president on his Twitter account.

The dialogue of the current vice president with the couple was disseminated on the platform.

The first to speak was Michelle, who stated that she couldn't have that conversation with her "girl" Kamala without telling her how proud she is of her. "This is going to be historic," she emphasized.

"Michelle and I could not be more proud to support you and to do everything possible for you to win this election and reach the Oval Office," her husband added.

The Obamas thus join the Clintons, who issued a joint statement last Sunday proclaiming their support for Harris.

Support for her increases every day, to the point that many believe no one within the Party has a chance of facing her, and it is even possible that her nomination will be finalized this week.

This week, Kamala managed to raise 90 million in just 24 hours, a record figure that came largely from small contributions, although it also has the support of big entrepreneurs, famous artists, and heavyweights from the Party.

Since Joe Biden announced his decision to abandon the presidential race and proclaimed his support for Harris as his possible successor in the electoral campaign, her role as the Democratic candidate in November seems to be getting closer.
